Even after decreasing the number of fans that would nourish the Indianapolis 500 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and submitting an 88 page programme for executing the race in a way that was prophylactic for fans AND drivers, the Indy 500 will run without fans in the audience.
It is anticipated that there will be nearly 1,500 personnel onsite for the race but on August 23rd, the stands will be sans-fans.
This news is neither surprising or shocking to many parents whose children started their schoolhouse year from their living rooms and kitchens. Many local and national sports leagues accept delayed or canceled their seasons. The fact that the Indy 500 can actually exist held at all is a relief to race fans in Indianapolis and across.

Wow. I used to live about the track. So much will be dissimilar the 24-hour interval of the race an other events. The dissonance of the cars only no people walking in the area will exist very strange.
